Creating a Sustainability Plan: Gunni CARES 2030
In April 2021, the City of Gunnison, CO hired Shannon Hessler and Jenny Nitzky, two Master in Environmental Management students at Western Colorado University to create a sustainability plan.
Solar for Ukraine
Western students joined Coldharbour Institute’s Equitable Solar Solutions (ESS) to prepare solar chargers for people in Ukraine and refugees in Poland. This effort was led by ESS’s Rich Strömberg and supported by ESS interns.
